This Highland Holiday Cottage is special! It has spectacular views from all around the house, with the Sea in front and a Sea Loch behind, fed by a sea channel. The beach is just metres away so the house is surrounded by water on three sides. It is situated at the far end of the Coigach peninsula, near what is known as 'The Island' where there is walking, hiking, rock climbing, fishing and beaches just a short walk from the front door. No need to drive.
The cottage is light, airy, bright and modern with large viewing windows all within a stone's throw of a beach. It is decorated in the style of a beach house with white floorboards throughout, reindeer and sheepskin rugs and an open log fire in the sitting room. The view from the sea from the picture windows is breathtaking - a panoramic sea view with the Summer Isles framed by a range of mountains.
As the former family home of a film maker and artist, cook and environmentalist it has a warm, homely feel with original paintings sourced from all over the world and family furniture which makes for a charming 'homely chic' look full of character.
